Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Card Vault, a mobile application operated by Card Vault, a company legally registered in Bangladesh.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Card Vault mobile application (“Platform”, “App”, “Service”), which is designed to scan and digitally store English business cards using your device's camera, gallery, or manual input. By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the App.

1. Eligibility

The App is available to users of all ages, including those under 13 and under 18 years old. However, if you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, please obtain parental or legal guardian consent before using the Platform.

2. Platform Description

Card Vault allows users to:

• Scan English business cards using the device camera
• Import business card images from the device gallery
• Enter card information manually via a form
• Digitally store and manage business cards
• Use stored cards to call, email, or sync contacts
• Search, edit, and delete business cards

Users can create an account, but cannot link their account to social media accounts. The Platform does not sell any goods or services, and there is no subscription service.

3. User Content and Activity

You may input and manage data related to business cards for your own use. However:

• You cannot upload or post comments, articles, photos, videos, or any other media.
• You cannot submit reviews or other public-facing content.
• You cannot link to or from external websites that are not owned by Card Vault.

You must use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You agree not to use the App in a manner that violates any applicable law or regulation.

4. Third-Party Advertising

The Platform may display advertisements provided by third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for the content of these advertisements.

5. No Limitation of Liability

Card Vault does not limit its liability for any claims users may bring regarding the use of this Platform, to the extent permitted under applicable law.

6. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between you and Card Vault, the following procedures will apply:

a. Informal Negotiations

The parties shall first attempt to resolve the dispute through informal negotiations for a period of 30 days.

b. Arbitration

If informal resolution is not achieved, the dispute shall be finally resolved through arbitration.

• Number of Arbitrators: Three (each party appoints one arbitrator, and the two arbitrators jointly appoint the third)

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

9. Communication and Notifications

We do not send SMS text messages to users. We will not notify users of updates to these Terms directly. However, we will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.

10. Hosting and Data Location

The Platform is hosted exclusively in the United States. It is not hosted in any other country.
